Weird anime game with surprise horror elements that give it a subversive, shocking and dynamic feel. For all its weird juxtapositions of schoolgirls and dark themes, Doki Doki Literature Club could only ever have been made in Japan.

Puzzle game with solid, varied gameplay, a quirky art style, cute characters and more sexual references than you could shake a Hell-demon’s bone at. What’s not to love about Helltaker?
My Friend Is A Raven (92%)
My Friend Is A Raven is one of the earliest titles by developer Two Star Games, the genius behind the now uber-viral Choo Choo Charles game.
A side-scrolling, fully hand-drawn Horror Indie Adventure game, My Friend Is A Raven is perfect to get the spooky vibes going while waiting for Charles to make his grand entrance.
Shadow Warrior Classic (93%)
For all self-respecting retro FPS fans, this is a must. While overshadowed (see what we did there?) by Doom, Duke Nukem and many others at the dawn of the 90s, Shadow Warrior was a seminal and solid FPS title. With not many user reviews, Vigorus is a visually stunning rhythm game with an up-tempo, catchy gameplay loop. But it will need a little more support if a sequel is to be expected.
Viridi (97%)
