Henry Cavill (remember him? the guy with the moustache) has delighted gaming fans by dressing as his favourite video game character, Geralt of Rivia.

Sporting a costume shop wig, jacket and plastic sword labelled ‘Witch Hunter Gary’ (so not an official product then) that only cost £7.99 he apparently hit the town with fellow amateur cosplayers and enjoyed a spookily fun night out at the Slag & Flag’s Halloween party in Slough on Wednesday.

And the best news of all? He won 2nd prize in the costume contest! Beaten only by this superbly coloured super ‘video game guy’ outfit.

To be fair to Henry, I think it was this dudes moustache that swung it. Better luck next time…
