This game appears to be dramatically different from its previous version. It takes a totally new direction, with additions like supernatural forces and ever werewolves, with zombies as well! This time around, the protagonist is a witch, which makes for an unexpected but welcome change. We look forward to even more terrifying pursuits, similar to what we experienced with Nemesis and Mr X. Due to be released on 7th May, it’s available on Xbox series X|S, Xbox One, PC and PS4/5.

Mario Golf: Super Rush

While golf in video games isn’t usually as dull as it’s quite made out to be, it could do with introducing some more exciting gameplay. Mario Golf achieves this somewhat, with some new modes like speed golf, where multiple players battle it out to get to the end of the course in the quickest amount of time. The clever use of the motion sensor in Switch allows players to replicate golf swing. This alone has resulted in many funny online videos. As players attempt to swing like Bryson DeChambeau, they end up throwing their devices through their TV screens!

Halo Infinite

Initially launching for the Xbox Series X and S, the master chef returns to this game, the main character who featured in the first three installments of this famous first-person shooter franchise. The release date isn’t yet available. However, it should be worth the wait. Launch trailers, in particular, look pretty exciting, with complex environments and landscapes, which are possible thanks to the much-improved processing power of the new Xbox. Users will also have a better choice of power-ups and new weapons.

Gran Turismo 7

This long-running franchise never fails to impress, particularly when it showcases the power of a new console well. There are many improvements for its latest addition, like HDR, real-time ray tracing, and various other visual enhancements. What’s particularly impressive is the change in resistance thanks to the dual sense controller that comes with the PS5. This adjusts depending on what’s happening in the game. For example, if a player uses anti-locking brakes when driving. It’s coming out on PS5 in 2021.

Pokemon Snap

The original version, which was released way back in 1999 on the Nintendo 64, was a simple yet character-packed game. Central to it was the main character, Todd Snap, who navigated around different worlds on rails, surrounded by different rare Pokemon. Twenty years on, and we finally have a sequel. Despite not much information being released yet, the hardcore Pokemon fans sit waiting in great anticipation. It will be released sometime in 2021 on Nintendo Switch.

Final Fantasy XVI

Although this title may drum up visions of an average medieval fantasy fare, it’s based around the fictional land of Valisthea. A group of adventurers travel across it to prevent disease, known as ‘The Blight’. Expect high-energy battles, much entertainment, and dramatic gameplay when this PS5 title is eventually released in 2021.

Age of Empires 4

With an overhaul of all three titles now complete, it’s never been a better time to be a fan of Age of Empires. It uses the medieval setting previously seen in Age of Empires two, which was considered one of the best in the series. Many of the uncovered problems in the third version will now be ironed out in the new version. We know that after seeing some trailers, fans were concerned about the cartoon-like graphics. Luckily, before the final release has happened, developers will still have enough time to make some much-needed changes.

As Games Grow in Popularity Throughout 2021, which New Title will You Try?

Despite a somewhat tricky climate, gaming has continued to thrive, thanks to advances in PC graphics cards and the launch of new consoles and new titles.

Users are now pretty much spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing their next game. There’s a plethora of action games and sports titles, as well as lots of online casinos.
